At the moment all caravans are being spring cleaned and in ST41a and ST20 I have the carpet fitters coming in tomorrow to fit lovely new carpets to living areas.   In these two caravans we have also removed fitted dining area seating and are replacing with much more spacious free standing dining tables and chairs.   I will put new pictures on my website www.mjcaravansbashley.com/ as soon as this is all in place. For 2015, ST20 will be available for most of the year for 3 night weekend and 4 night mid-week breaks as well as Friday - Friday bookings (apart from the summer holidays when it will be full week Saturday - Saturday bookings only).   Any caravan booked for consecutive 2 weeks will be given a £20 discount. It is Autumn and the #NewForest is looking beautiful and is also nice and quiet.   The weather is also surprisingly mild.  The pigs have joined the ponies, donkeys and deer in the forest for pannage season eating the acorns which are poisonous to the ponies and the colours of leaves on the trees are amazing  I will be taking  2 or 3 night weekend bookings until the end of December and also have 1 vacancy for the New Year Break.  (On the website I have given lots of ideas of pre. Christmas attractions, especially for those with children which look fun).    After this time I start spring cleaning all the caravans, getting carpets renewed if necessary and replacing any other items in the caravans.  They will all be up and ready again for the February half-term. Now the spring is arriving it is a lovely time to visit the beautiful #newforest and the south coast.   It won't be long before lots of foals start arriving in the forest which I always love seeing. We have lots of short breaks coming up over the next few weeks, including #MayDay bank holiday, so a perfect chance to book a few days away in one of our lovely #holidaycaravans here at #bashleypark. Blue skies and sunshine here at Bashley Park in the New Forest.   It is due to be the same for a while yet, so book a few days away and come and explore our beautiful surroundings. The caravans have all been spring cleaned and are ready for the start of the 2014 holiday season.   We should be due some lovely dry, sunny weather after all the rain we have had!   I am at the moment trying to add lots more useful information to the folders which we will be putting in each caravan and I have just ordered some maps of New Forest Walks which customers will be welcome to use while staying with us.   I will find some Bike Routes for everyone to use as well.   There will also be lots of recommended eating places etc. We always equip each caravan with lots of added extras, such as irons and ironing boards, radio/alarms and hairdryers as well as all the usual equipment expected by discerning customers these days.   I must remember to try and find some more family board games to go in though, as these often have 'bits' missing at the end of the season.    We have a good choice of family films on shelves as well as plenty of books to enjoy at the end of a busy day
