On a drive across the forest yesterday, through Bolderwood Arboretum and across to Fritham I came across this sweet newborn donkey with his Mum and had to stop and take some pictures.  They were near Janesmoor Pond which is a lovely spot for a picnic while  watching all the ponies, donkeys and often lots of Shetlands.

This is such a lovely time of year to visit the New Forest National Park.   The sun is shining and it will be nice and quiet in the next few weeks before the school summer holidays.

In my holiday static caravans sited at the very popular Hoburne Bashley family park, I have vacancies both for full weeks and short breaks from now onwards.

With acres of forest and heathland to explore as well as lots and lots of picturesque New Forest villages why not book a break away and come and relax.

After exploring all day and stopping at one of the numerous lovely village pubs for a meal you can just chill in the caravan or on the sundeck or you can be entertained in Bashley's clubhouse every evening.

Have a look at my website www.mjcaravansbashley.com where you will find full details and pictures of the caravans and give me a call on 01425 627770 to book your break away.
