This is just a quick update to let everyone know that although Hoburne Bashley is now closed for major refurbishment until 19th March, I will still have caravans available to hire (3 night weekends only until 11th February and then fully open).
Although all entertainment, bars etc are closed, the indoor pool and fitness suite are still open and there is no charge to use them until the newly refurbished clubhouse opens. The golf course is still open (depending on weather) and usual charges apply.
For anyone wanting a nice quiet break away from it all or for those who love walking, cycling, horse riding or exploring the area there is still so much to see and do close by.
There are lots of beautiful New Forest villages to explore and excellent meals to be eaten in numerous local pubs and restaurants before returning to a lovely warm caravan, where you will find books, games and also a selection of dvds to watch.
On my website www.mjcaravansbashley.com you will find the latest prices and availability and full details and pictures of each caravan.
This weekend my husband and I went for a blustery but beautiful walk over Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve from the top of which you can see on one side Christchurch Bay and Mudeford spit and to the west views towards Bournemouth. Below are a few of the pictures I managed to take:
