On a drive across the forest yesterday, through Bolderwood Arboretum and across to Fritham I came across this sweet newborn donkey with his Mum and had to stop and take some pictures.  They were near Janesmoor Pond which is a lovely spot for a picnic while  watching all the ponies, donkeys and often lots of Shetlands.

This is such a lovely time of year to visit the New Forest National Park.   The sun is shining and it will be nice and quiet in the next few weeks before the school summer holidays.

In my holiday static caravans sited at the very popular Hoburne Bashley family park, I have vacancies both for full weeks and short breaks from now onwards.

With acres of forest and heathland to explore as well as lots and lots of picturesque New Forest villages why not book a break away and come and relax.

After exploring all day and stopping at one of the numerous lovely village pubs for a meal you can just chill in the caravan or on the sundeck or you can be entertained in Bashley's clubhouse every evening.

Have a look at my website www.mjcaravansbashley.com where you will find full details and pictures of the caravans and give me a call on 01425 627770 to book your break away.

Price reductions at Hoburne Bashley in the New Forest

I have just reduced the prices of the remaining July dates available in my spacious 2 bedroom holiday home at Hoburne Bashley in the beautiful New Forest.

Make the most of this fantastic weather, walk in our vast forests and heathland, explore all the picturesque villages and see our free roaming ponies, donkeys and foals while the area is still relatively quiet.

There are miles of coastline to walk or cycle, views of the Isle of Wight (even an easy short trip via ferry from Lymington over to the Island).   Lots of places of interest, well known attractions and bustling towns.

Have a look at my website for latest offers and last remaining 2018 vacancieshttp://www.mjcaravansbashley.com/late-dealsand give me a call.

Last few vacancies at #hoburnebashley in #thenewforest

Well, after a lovely hot spell, we seem to be having a little blip in the weather, but I am sure we will be back to blue skies and sunshine in no time.

Bookings have been coming in early this year, and I am now fully booked for the summer holiday weeks, apart from the 21st-28th July which I will split in to 2 breaks if it is easier for people depending on when their children break up.    The full week has been reduced to £750, or I will do short breaks for 21st-24th (3 nights) for £300, 24th-28th (4 nights) for £480.

Before the children break up for the holidays though, if anyone would like a lovely quiet holiday here in #thenewforest I have a few dates still available:

2nd-9th June price reduced to only £315
16th-23rd June £350
7th-14th July £460
14th-21st July £490

All my prices include free linen this year and all beds will be made up for your arrival.

I will have a few dates available after the summer holidays, but these are going quickly.
